Isn’t sunflower like one of the most multi-talented plants out there? It gives us one of the best cooking oil, its seeds are full of nutrition and the flower itself is such a delight for the eyes. Now add to this list one of the most preferred honey types – sunflower honey. In nations like France and Spain, sunflower honey is among the highest ranked types. Well, we thought, why not introduce Indians to this golden delight.
Our harvesters, after exhaustive research, choose the most appropriate and quality location for placing the bee boxes. Sunflower honey is harvested from the mesmerizing sunflower fields in Nagpur, Maharashtra, during the winters. As bees are capable of imparting properties of the blossom to the honey. So just like the sunflowers, this honey too, is golden yellow, bright and full of health. It has a mild taste and flavour, making it apt for use as a daily sweetener.

Why is it great?

But here’s the thing, before those cotton balls appear, the plant blossoms with beautiful white-creamy flowers for a very short time. And that’s when our harvesters get into action.
Cotton flowers have a very short life – 5 to 7 days only. Even more short-lived is the nectar life – only day 1 of the flowers gives nectar to the bees. From next day onwards, the bees reroute themselves to the leaf-like floral part at the base of the actual flower and collect another nectar from here. The most impressive feat is that the honey harvested from the extra-floral nectar is exactly similar to the honey harvested from the flower. The honey is light in colour and the flavour is buttery with some juicy fruity undernotes. The honey is really sweet but gives a mild tingle at the back of the throat after consumption. The mild flavour makes it a great table honey.

Eucalyptus flowers readily attract bees due to their bright colours and abundant nectar. Eucalyptus honey is mostly mono-floral i.e. obtained majorly form one species of flower. It is slightly darker than normal honey and has a very pleasant aromatic smell. It is not too sweet and has medium herbal note to it. The honey offers almost all the medicinal values of Eucalyptus with a refreshingly warm and woody caramel aftertaste. It works amazingly well as a healthy sweetener to your drinks, teas and as salad dressings.

honey seems like nice but if its consistency was less watery it would be better n 5 stars ,it is not ultimate honey but nice honey ,very nice packing infact the best i ever seen for a glass bottle , nice flower like taste in it , worth the money paid i think, i am not a honey expert just ordinary judgement by taste colour etc, a friendly suggestion for the sellers is wish they gv plastic n glass bottle option n reduce price as we regular honey ordering people hv many glass bottles to transfer honey from plastic bottles.it might reduce courier n product cost making it reasonable price
