The best things in life, are unplanned. A life-altering sweet encounter made this phrase, our beloved truth. On a road trip in 2009, we fatefully came across a bunch of bee keepers. Bees – the tiny marvels of nature fascinated our city-dwelled minds, compelling us to do something more than just being in an awe. So we decided to bring them home and that’s how the bees entered our lives.

We brought four bee boxes to our farm to study and experiment with them. Relax, we did not go Frankenstein on them. All we wanted to do was witness the miraculous process that gave mankind one of the greatest elixirs of life – honey. Soon enough, we succeeded in extracting a small amount of honey which was way more delicious than any honey we had tasted till then. It was pure and full of the natural goodness our ancient scriptures talked about. What added to our moment of pride was the fact that during the entire process not a single bee was hurt. Now, the only thing left to be done was to take this harmony to the world. But that was easier said than done.

From there on began a tremendous journey filled with challenges and achievements. Our first and foremost priority was, and still remains, bee safety. Every member of our team sworn by the code that honey bees should not be harmed at any stage. To ensure this, we needed something more than the traditional methods of honey collection. We dedicated ourselves to understanding the vices being followed in Bee Keeping and Forest Honey collection and how they could be rectified with proven scientific methods. While our quality was top notch, the refined techniques and ethical practices escalated the cost of obtaining raw honey. Marketing this honey in a market flooded with cheap labels proved to be one of the biggest challenges for us. But like they say, where there’s a will, there’s a way. From exhibitions at flee markets to numerous consumer awareness programs – we left no stone unturned. And finally, we created for ourselves a niche class of consumers who acknowledge our work and appreciate the quality of our products.

Now after 10 years, everything has increased by several folds. Our team, our consumers and obviously, our bees.
